Naval Air Station Alameda

I went to a rave on an aircraft carrier on that base not too long ago.

Don't forget that Alameda is were they keep the nuclear wessels

huh>?

Oh man, do I really have to?

In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986), the crew of the Enterprise arrives in 1986 San Francisco in a Klingon Bird of Prey (the Enterprise has been destroyed). Uhura and Chekov need to find nuclear materials to charge the Bird of Prey's dilithium crystals. Chekov is a source of comedy as he proceeds to ask average 1986 SF citizens where he can locate a nuclear "wessel." His accent is stereotypically Russian, and it is the height of the cold war. Eventually, Uhura and Chekov locate the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65) at the Naval Air Station Alameda, which they proceed to infiltrate. There are also whales.

You forgot the hilarious consequences.

Funny story. I've seen more of that Star Trek movie than all the others combined.*

*I plan to change this, but not in any rush

the hilarious consequence being that Chekov basically falls to his death like a giant pussy after trying to steal plutonium off a submarine? And is only saved by Bones having advanced medical technology

I'm curious about what has happened to BOC, 5 years since their last original recording, who do they think they are, Kraftwerk?

You have to put it in the context of them having to travel back in time to score some whales, because in the future they're extinct and suddenly here comes along some space monolith that's bent on destroying the world if it can't say sup to some fucking whales. And Kirk gets to score some hot 80s marine biologists tang in the process despite all of Spock's cockblocking colorful metaphors.

Face it guys, this album is gonna suck like a hoover. No Limited Edition. No FLAC files, let alone 24bit. Rubbish title. Lame cover art. Where are all the hidden messages? No bonus track. wtf!Couldn't they have made a double album?8 years to produce just 63 minutes of music. Promo sounds like a John Carpenter rip-off.

everything you pointed out has no effect on the quality of the music

also, I want the BoC website to go back to normal. I really want to see the black box filled in.

The site doesn't need to go back to normal. The black box is still there. Just click on discography and you'll see it. Top left corner. It's there.

so it's not there.

Yes, it is.

I'm guessing he just needs to clear his cache or something. Try holding shift or ctrl and then refreshing the page, Acroyear.

Mmm mine does too (redirect to a http://cosecha-transmisiones.com/ that is ) and it's the first time I've been on to boardsofcanada.com on this machine for many months. I'm wondering if the redirect script has been cached on some of the servers (can they get cached differently depending on the ISP - is that something that can happen ?)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
