he's most likely a previously banned member duping on the board. A few banned members have tried very hard to get back onto the forum, and a few remain undetected or unprovable dupes ( you know who you are ) to the mods

How do they prove a dupe anyway? I'm basically internet illiterate but isn't there a number of ip blockers/scramblers and stuff?

I thought they verify your identity/account based on IP address.

But yeah, by the guys comments he was definitely a dupe. "my identity is ambiguous as ever. maybe i will enlighten you in the coming days."

i dont know, but a few dupes have managed to slip through the cracks. Occasionally a 'new' member will drop a reference to someone on the board or a meme on watmm that they couldn't possibly have known about unless they were extreme lurkers for a span of 5-6 years. I could drop a few names of people who i think are dupes, but i don't want to make anyone feel like a rat trapped in a corner.
