That band he had on in session were alright. Not that i'm gonna listen to anymore, but he did have the decency to mention no BoC.

There's got to be a 2nd wave of promo hype soon. It's out in 3 weeks goddamit.

Yeah, they should have really done something more to hype it up by now... the general atmosphere around this release seems a lot more slow and less interested than the one around Exai seemed to be, which doesn't really make sense. If a new track was released or there was some radio play or an interview it'd get everything hyped up again.

to be fair, with exai, ae didn't bring on a shitstorm of hype and then not mention 1 thing for 6 weeks. the reason there is such a lull is because most people are deflated after all that excitement.

I think the reason there's less hype is after 8 yrs and many false starts, it makes sense to take a "wait and see" attitude.

A new Ae album is always a cause for celebration, as they are much more prolific so it feels like the continuation of a badass musical journey. For BoC, it's like waiting for a geriatric rabbit to shit one golden pellet. And then once it arrives, you start wondering if all the effort will make it die.
