The Haxan Cloak is going to be supporting in London, this is going to be amazing.

Will hopefully be seeing them in Nottingham, any news on support?

Edit: Just checked and The Haxan will be supporting there too!

Like the sound of this....

I am really digging this, "The Red Wing" was indeed promising after all. I have always kept an eye on them, in fact I had a demo mp3 of their song "Sweet Love For Planet Earth" from 2007. That said I never was really captivated by the work. This album is shaping up to be one of my favorite ones this year though, really playful and engaging tracks.

Result!

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

first proper listen. The red wing I like more now than when i first heard it. the other stand out is "prince's prize", it sounds like plaid but awesome

stalker i had to skip. this album is one idea: pummel

the albums kind of a brutally straightforward feel to the beats, but i'm massively disappointed by the muddy / boomy quality of the recording - in comparison to the mogwai remix cd of theres, which is the only other thing they've done that i've physically got.

i think i was just done with that sound by that point in the album

same with the last album too. by the time flight of the feathered serpent gets going i'm done with that sound and want to move on. too squealy

it is harsh for sure. I can do a few tracks at a time. can't do the whole thing at once.

they'd be better off just releasing eps. it's the perfect format for them.

Epic album ! I love all tracks except of the last one Hidden Xs .

The tracks are full of energy, surprises and hypnotic power that allows you to enter another dimension !

Happy to see them next month in Vienna !

I agree too, though this is the first of their LPs I could actually sit through.

Picked this one up today, listened to the whole thing on my drive home, great stuff and it makes a relaxing commute.

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.
