I'm glad to hear drums after all the ambient only speculation. Not that it would be bad or anything, it's just not what I've been expecting after all these years.

The track itself doesn't enchant. Sounds exactly like a lesser brother to a track i recently listened to by Mike Patton on The Place Beyond the Pines ST. A De Vito to A Schwartz, if you will.

alpha rainbow too and some others; i'm just singling out the short ones, that have it has a lead, in which the entire track is built around

sorry to momentarily derail, but i must say, the SH-101 has such magical properties to it...

it's no wonder BoC use it so often.

sh-101 is the roland synth that deserves all the attention and retrofetishm the 303 gets.

1. its very affordable

2. its not instantly recognizable if used in a simple way, it has character but not always, which is a good thing. A 303 is instantly recognizable.

3. I've never heard any awesome 303 ambient music made with a tb303 and a delay/looper pedal.
