Now are they gonna bubble wrap it then? Those budget rate envelopes are pretty flimsy. What you save on postage you spend on replacing damaged orders.

Bleep ship in cardboard cartons, at least the last time I ordered they did, at least when it comes to vinyl.

My order was last updated 22nd May and is currently "in_progress".

Are those corrugated or flat back?

Bleep always send in corrugated mailers.

Royal Mail still finds a way to treat them so badly that they can arrive bent, though. Fucking Royal Mail.

These days, industry standard for global carriers is a corrugated material affixed to a six ply sheet of composite paper. They tend to damage less and are fairly cheap to manufacture. Of course, you won't see those savings translate to cheaper shipping rates any time soon.

Technically, if they've got the product in stock some time before shipping (which they do, right?), they could just use a 1 week postal service and send it out 1 week earlier.

my point exactly! That is supposed to be the point of preordering. >.<

There's no such thing as a '1 week' postal service over here.

Just came back from my local record store. The cards have a code on the back; not sure what its purpose is now that the /reserva link is available to all. Maybe it will come into play later. Poster was bigger than I expected.

Usually it gets shipped Royal 1st class and then tendered to Canada Post xpress service. (I'm talking my amazon.co.uk shipments that I receive very quickly). Seems reasonable that bleep could handle the same thing.

Also, international Royal Airmail is supposed to be 5-7 business days! So technically even that should arrive at a decent time.

I've hijacked the thread... sorry

Is it actually 6 set's of 6 numbers? or something else? Is there more to be had in the cosecha site?

Nope, just one longer set of letters and numbers. Not sure.

Have you tried typing it in the cosecha-transmissiones website? did you get an all new(old) BoC song/album? did you get the same thing as the /reserva .zip? (sorry, I'm curious)

edit: maybe it's a long string of different codes that will lead to an all new, secret album?

I'm exited now.

Did the same today. The clerk was kind of sleepy so it took him awhile to realize they were doing a special preorder, so once he did he gave me the download card and ordered the vinyl. They didn't have the posters but I really don't need one. it's just the album cover in stretch cat form...
