Catsitting Advice

Ahaha holy shit, after having made that post, I went to the kitchen to have a drink. Whilst drinking, I imagined how a loving family puts up missing-cat-posters all over the neighborhood whilst being watched by the cat that just can't be arsed to come out from under the mini van - and I lost it. Squirted a whole bunch of water through my nose and spat the rest on the floor laughing. Cats are such assholes, I love them.

ugh, cats and medicine. my cat bit me so hard that broke my fingernail; i was trying to feed her an antiparasitic drug. anyway, not all cats react like that. good luck to you and your cat!

absolutely. if not for the horrors I have experienced taking care of a cat on the brink of a maggoty, gross death, I might have still wanted to have one of my own one day. it's mos def not happening now.

I've actually never experienced such horrible things and I've had cats my entire life and am also the son of a vet and saw lots of dead pets in boxes as a kid. Still, the maggot infested wound is extraordinary even to me! Don't let that stop you from owning a cat though, you've already been shown the worst.

Cat-wise, you just lost your virginity to a 67 year old woman living in a shopping trolley, but that shouldn't keep you from having sex for the rest of your life!
