Well I haven't played it a huge amount and I don't quite enjoy it as much as his previous EPs but it is still top quality.

The Knife - Shaking The Habitual is kind of a big deal. I think out of all the big "comeback" albums this year, it's the best by pretty far.

I really need to listen to that again. I've only played it once since getting it and it's like I always have something more gratifying to listen to at hand for some reason.

It reminds me a bit of Swans' The Seer, in that it's a big, difficult, over-the-top consciously epic album. But like that one, it has a malevolent spirit and rythmic energy to it that makes a lot of other music sound like a wet noodle.

Can 2013 continue its momentum in the second half of the game?

 

Perhaps some fresh legs ready to come on, but who do they have on the bench?
