That could be the proposed clamp down by Brown/Obama on tax heavens for the uber rich and powerful who've been pulling the strings for far too long.

This planet ain't getting any bigger and it will take something serious to change the small minded destructive mentality of the masses. I do think we'll have a catastrophic effect on the human race in my lifetime as we are doomed with the way we're heading now.

I'd just like us to get our shit together enough to colonize Mars. That way if the crap hits the fan back home we still have a vestige of humanity floating out there. I'm very much a humanist.

I highly doubt the world will ever end in the sense of complete and utter destruction. We humans have survived pandemics such as the black plague and flu of 1918 and so on. With modern hydroponics technology fruits and vegetables could be grown indoors in the case of decreased sunlight/temperature. The end of the world has been predicted and then passed uneventfully more times than I can count, almost as if man has some sort of desire for the world to end, some sort of guilt that we feel requires consequences. What I do hope for in my generation is change.
