Thanks for all the info guys, interesting times we live in, the whole youtube world seems to be really good for artists these days as people really like to look into peoples lives and how they do thing etc...

If people like your stuff they'll spread the word to other people who will then continue to spread the word. Whatever you do, don't spam your stuff all over the place. Nothing worse than seeing those "I'm a 13 year old dubstep producer from Hungary pls listen"-comments on Youtube and stuff.

not to be a cynic, but i don't think this happens as much as it used to. People are far too reliant on 'trusted' sources even of obscure niches to tell them what's good. Word of mouth is great, but often times even if people like your stuff, they most likely won't talk about it unless they absolutely love it.
