then I had to explain how I was able to get it. I felt uncomfortable about revealing that I had been telling white lies for so long in the spirit of saving up the money that i preferred to just say I found a big loaded gift card someone left between some chair cushions at a coffee shop

 

i'd rather someone think I stole hundreds of dollars in a moment of weakness than think I was keeping daily secrets

the other day on the bus i overheard a couple hipsters talking real loud to each other without taking either of their earphones out. one was going on and on about how he had just torrented the entire richard d james catalog.

the other one said he just got all of autechre and something about "unknown dubstep"

Found a 5 dollar bill on the ground and a 20 dollar bill a second time. These both happened when i was very young so it was extra special because i had no way to obtain money
