Saw him (or actually, them - they were two) live yesterday, and it was great. The DJ Krush reference earlier in this thread is spot on, I was thinking about Krush's "Meiso" album a couple of times at the concert. Lovely stuff!

I find his music is drenched in thick muddy soup. The production sounds like a quagmire. I mean I don't want it to sound like a shiny penny but it detracts from what should sound fucking cool. It sorts of drags it down imo.

Some music sounds good drowning in thick muddy soup lol. Doe's he produce it himself? I think he may be wise to get a producer on board, I think that would work for him.
