is there a freeware alternative to this?

i thought it was a pitch shifter, but then i heard about frequency shifters, then i thought yeah, but now i forgot everything again.

def. some LFO on freq shift, maybe with a mod wheel controlling the depth of the lfo? but it sounds quite good.

i'm like 90% sure it's just a simple comb filter type delay effect being modulated. there isn't any pitch or frequency domain manipulation taking place on the drum loop
