A strong contender for the album of the year for me.

I like how it's Godflesh at its core, but still different from their other releases. This one is probably even more minimalistic than Streetcleaner.

You can preoder this from their Bandcamp now for $8.50 US. Some good looking merch on there too.

This album has me really happy that I've still heard so little of Godflesh's (and JKB's) music. Good times ahead (I hope).

I just bought and downloaded this off the shitty hostel wifi and walked the streets of midnight Rome blasting it in my ears. totally fit. I almost never talk about first impressions with music but damn, this is a tour de force. true return to form.

there's an insane amount of low-end rumbling though. not sure how I feel about that yet, although it does bring the oppressive apocalyptic vibes.

anyone get the digital special with the extra dubs?
