I was at a party and Aphex was spinning. There wasn't anything 'creepy' going on. It was one of my better dreams as of late, to be honest!

 

Hopefully you remembered the music he played in the dream and (if it wasn't something you've heard before) you woke up and tried to record it in some way.

I had a dream last night with this awesome song and as I woke up, I tried to remember it. Unfortunately I checked the email on my phone and promptly lost it.

It was a ballad-y, early rock melody, like something out of an old Ricky Nelson, Roy Orbison or My Morning Jacket song.

It's tragic to me when I lose stuff like that.

I read a Neil Young quote where he said he dreams music all the time and will wake up any time, anywhere and go straight to a piano, guitar or studio to try and capture it.

So, yeah, Aphex Twin...

He's worked on a secret project quite recently. Not sure if I'll get banned for saying it. Some may label me a conspiracy nut, but...

I thought that he mentioned the dream thing as a jokey taunt about the impending thread lock. Because it's a sign that a thread in this subforum has gone off the rails when someone mentions seeing richard in a dream.

Thing is, this thread was never on rails to begin with, it's a purple polkadot hovercraft tobogganing down an avalanche.
