Mind you I was six years old then so my tastes have probably changed since.

Christ almighty I feel old.

Don't worry Josh-o, at least you're not part of a generation of iPad wielding maniacs.

I feel like an old man too. Even my roomate's 4-year-old nephew plays Minecraft on an iPad. Man was I in the dark ages at that age in comparison...

Oh yes, getting back on topic - I should also mention Machine Drum - Now You Know.

I'm so surprised that Go Plastic is only on 2 peoples lists... Holy shit... lol

Yeah same here, I've listened to that more than any of his other releases.

What's up with the lack of Confield, Geogaddi, Drukqs and Go Plastic on some of these lists?

My top 5 is those four and Clarence Park.

geogaddi is 2002 I think! but yeah, confield and druqks is clearly underrepresented. I do no understand the love for square. I think I have to revisit!

I find Confield to be unlistenable, pretty much. That's why it's not on my list. I like the melody in VI Scose Poise and... I guess that's it.

Stars of the Lid - Tired Sounds

O'Rourke - Insignificance

Telefon Tel Aviv - Fahrenheit Fair Enough

Boards of Canada - Geogaddi

Plus probably a LOT more that I'm missing. Yeah, 2001 is definitely top-notch to put it lightly. Has quite a few handfuls of my absolute favorite albums.
