Almina Lebedeva aka Shanidola, i like what she does with sound a lot, that's how witch house should have been done (and after some reading on her i'm sure that she has no idea of it existing)

I'm gonna say that Y. Beckhirst is winning this thread so far, but Farrah and Tykylevits are great competition.

Edit:

Oh, and the OOBE/Snickers guy as well. Shit actually I don't know who my favorite is. Y. Beckhirst is probably the most "outsider".

I hope that you're ironically applying this worn out paradigm of winning the competition in regards to outsiders' music.

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.

Sounds pretty straight for me, maybe i'm just spoiled. Nice music, turns the typical mood of this style upside down.

You guys remember mp3.com from late 90s, early 20aughts (ha!)? I had a folder of amazing messed up stuff from back then that I heart breakingly lost.

- Cyrus Sullivan. He was kind of a 'star' for being so bad. Amazingly, someone uploaded his 'hit' on youtube!

- Samson. He sounded kind of like pitched down drunken Beck with some wacked out drum loops. His songs were about getting kicked out of the house by his wife, not having a job, drinking, living in a motel. It was very entertaining ramblings and I couldn't tell if it was legit or a joke.

- Skip and The Elite. It was a band with a schizophrenic on vocals who would sing about a bunch of random stuff. A line that always stuck with me was asking a woman how deep her vagina was. His backing band was very competent though. I quickly found this track just now!

Found this gem through forgotify, meaning I was the first person to listen to it on spotify:

That's nice music for the most part. I don't think it's an outsider, just massively unpopular for a pop music.

I agree. Vocals are pretty unabashed at times, maybe that's why I felt like posting it.

Yeah dude, I'm going to make some kind of proto-vaporwave playlist or mix, there's some prime vaporwave vibes on here. Some of it is just drum machine/demo-esque rock and pop, but still good.

I somehow ended up on a channel of a guy named Boning Bagelmeister II

It's an old guy that covers old songs but changes the lyrics so they're about bagels.

He also plays the trombone when he can.
