I'm listening to a lot of analord at the moment. I like this track, I don't think its the best, but it keeps drawing me back. I always hear something new...

The jury is still out for me on the Chosen Lords. Cliche to say but they are always growing, while the essence remains the same. Either way I love them, whether or not I can derive some hidden meaning other than "have a good time listening to these kick ass tracks", as with most Aphex.

Whoa mcbpete my analord 10 only cost me about £7.50 inc postage. But then it's the aphex symbol one not the binder one.

Aye, this was the 180g pressing with the folder to house all the other Analords (so felt inclined to purchase the whole set as a result as I'm a consumerist whore)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

If it's not that then it is likely gear/tech related.

xmd5a is one of my favorites from the Analords along with Boxing Day and SteppingFilter 101.

Boxing Day has this very trippy feel that's like an emergency but at the same time it's relaxed. It's hard to describe.

Agreed this track is trippy.

I always get images of a old schooner, crashing onto an atoll or reef in very dark and stormy weather. The clanging sound is of a brass bell, tolling as the old ship succumbs to a watery grave. The acid lines are souls of the soon to be dead sailors struggling against the currents. Or something like that

This track has always conjured up this image to me.

That is epic, I always imagine looking at bell tower from far away in the dark, towering over a small town.

really? feels like "The Shining" hotel kind of track to me. When the sweeping piano line comes and that murky calmness. Never thought of water or the sea, but thats cool. Now that you mention the sea and waves i can see it too. I like these interpretations. Some tracks def engender visual scenarios.. Some more than others

Heard xmd5a for the first time after chomping up a bunch of blotters at a Halloween party. My AFX vinyl came and I put it on. Proceeded to have my mind ravaged and weird everyone out at the party. The siren synth over the grunge-esque part that ends the song just kills me every time since then.

That description is pretty on for me :)
