Oh i understand your point and agree that there are advantages to this gift giving thing, along with the illogical parts of it. I think if i was loaded i'd probably be an embarrassing gift fairy, maybe. Just not at christmas time E-;

wife got me apple tv, pretty psyched even though I know next to nothing about it.

 

 

 

 

The nose is lovely and squidgy, although the gel that came with it has seeped through since I put the bugger up. I think it's a bit thinner than standard stuff so I'll put some Radox in and hope for the best.

I wonder if a penis edition of that soap dispenser exists.

You say that until it doesn't stop dripping all day. I've taken it off the wall and given it a short rest in an angle that it couldn't possibly leak anymore.

got my secret santa person (for gf's fam) a hat and scarf, like 8 bars of primo chocolat, and some scented candles

gave out about $90 in itunes cards b/c that's what everyone seemed to want (suckers payin for music that isn't on a record!)

me and my gf made up a huge batch of ridiculously delicious cocoa mix with toasted anise and such, and bagged it up, and then took mugs and hand-painted them for p much everyone we know.

got my mom a laptop (actually just my old laptop but she was still super excited, her old computer was a pentium iv from ~9 years ago) and a really nice pashmina scarf

got my dad a book about ronald reagan (as loathe as i am to enable his ultraconservatism)

got my brother the stanley kubrick box set

got my niece a couple of books and a shitload of candy

bottom is a raspberry pi, its a super cheap all-in-one computer that runs linux (and other OSes) off of an SD card

top is a usb wifi dongle since the pi doesn't have it built in.

that sounds pretty sweet! never heard of the pi deal, looking into it now
