Man killed in movie theater for texting his daughter

Recommended Posts

This is why I only go to the movies occasionally, and usually go on a weekday matinee showing. It's mostly elder couples who remain quiet and courteous. Otherwise I'll just wait and watch it at home.

Fucking shit eating scum. What the fuck did you expect when you had your phone on in the theatre you little shit. Fucking got what's coming to him little bitch. Fucking annoying ass shitholes in theatres always eating, making noise, talking, laughing, got their fuckin phones on when they fucking TELL YOU FUCKING TURN IT OFF DICKGRIZZLER. FUCK. There's a special fucking place in hell for diabolical fucks like that dude. And fuck his wife too she shoulda been raped, impregnated, with the baby pulledout at 8 months and shot in front of her fucking face then she herself should be shot after. Fucking slut bitch. What a cunt. Theatre is a theatre you fucking sphincter pussies should shut the fuck up and be aware that people are trying to watch a goddamn flick. Fucking eat shit and die.

Any degenerate who fucks with the almighty moviewing experience should be given a cocaine enema and forced to eat horse shit and baby vomit till they die.

the most embarrassing/cringe-worthy moments I have in movie theatres these days involve people chuckling and/or being glued to the screen during the PRe-trailer commercials. IT's fucking horrendous that anybody pays attention to those.

You lot are hopeless, did u ever consider it could have been an emergency? I'm not saying it was but consider some serious shit goes down and you want to contact your parents, and they happen to be at a movie unbeknownst to you. So yeah, sorry dad I got you killed but you deserved it bc you were at some fucking theater and a crazy old fuck didn't like that.

It's easy to be crass and insensitive when it's not happening to you. We should have sterilized the yuppies in the 80s and saved our society the blight of the Millenials.

Positive Metal Attitude

i think it's pretty obvious that the 70 year old guy was a psychotic cop who was just waiting his entire life to take someone elses life. Sadly he ended up achieving this in a movie theatre argument. Kind of a pathetic way to fulfill your life long goal, but there you go.

so just a word to the wise, sometimes even 70+ retired police officers could still be vacuous sociopathic lunatics and bring concealed carry weapons into movie theatres waiting eagerly to be able to use it.

the only positive thing to come out of this story i suppose is that luckily he didn't kill other innocent bystanders or people that pissed him off in the line of duty (that we know of, although if he did this who really knows)

oh cool, so he also tried to pull the stand your ground defense Zimmerman style, jesus christ

curtis-reeves-affidavit.jpg

so guys, he didnt kill this guy over a texting incident, he killed him because he was protecting himself!

Reeves said he "was in fear of being attacked" by Chad Oulson, 43, so he pulled his .380 semi automatic handgun from his pants pocket and shot the victim. Oulson's wife, Nichole, was wounded in the hand when she put it up to protect her husband.

Witnesses have told police that someone threw popcorn in the seconds before the shooting.

Both victims were taken by air to Tampa General Hospital, where Chad Oulson was pronounced dead. His wife was treated for injuries.

Reeves' statements raise the possibility that he could try to invoke Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, made famous by the shooting in which George Zimmerman killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012.

Experts on Florida's controversial law say that Reeves could invoke "Stand Your Ground" as a defense of the shooting, but would have to convince a judge or jury that he reasonably feared for his life and felt he could not retreat, which they said would be a challenge.

"This could be a situation where Stand Your Ground is used. The defendant's statements to police is information that could be used to establish self-defense," said Kenneth B. Nunn, professor of law of the University of Florida's Levin College of Law.

"But part of self defense requires you to retreat if you can do so in complete safety," he said.

so not only is he psychotic, he's also a pussy

Did YOU consider that if there was an emergency, the guy should have left the cinema instantly. ala argument invalidated.

Also, John.E we already covered the whole previews thing. Your misspent ire is neither insightful nor timely. ;-p

A member of the non sequitairiate.

I think they should just use cell jammers in the cinemas, problem solved.

I've been meaning to get one from overseas (they are pocket ones you can carry around) just to troll assholes on my bus who feel the need to share their conversations with everyone else.

lol

The whole time, I'm picturing some hardcore cinephile getting pissed off at the guy who's texting during some 35mm screening of Godard's trailer for that Bresson movie with the donkey.

What a fucked up country some of you live in.

I just don't understand the whole guns thing. It's just weird and I'm so very glad it's different this side of the pond.

(I appreciate there are many fucked up things in this country too)

It's large and varied tho. The regions might as well be their own countries, but I could go on. Had to go thru the whole blanket stereotype spiel a thousand times now..

All I really have to say is pulling out your phone in a movie theatre is inconsiderate, but pulling out a gun is outright psychotic.

Yeah,I appreciate not everyone in the US is a psychotic muthafunker, but so many people get shot and killed and the arguments seems to be for more guns whenever something like this happens.

'Let's go watch a movie hun'

'do you have everything?'

'one sec, i'll just go grab my Beretta and we're good to go'

I owned a .22 calibre rifle myself until a month ago. Oddly enough I actually feel more secure being gun-free now. I have the same sentiments tho, being tired of trigger-happy nutters packing handguns in public. I mean, what good could possibly come from that? Do they think they're being heroes by doing so..?

Had to chuckle at this, I can picture a bit of popcorn hitting old crazy man in the face and him going nuts.

Guys I'm really serious about my last two posts. You may not think that I am but really I am and what you think is not actually right.

The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun. That's what some 'Murican said.

I'm glad I got the hell out of Florida.
