I would apply a parametric equalizer at 2.5kHz, minus about 3-6 dB, on the really loud drums that come in for the first time at around :24. This is a good song, but, for me, anyway, that drum loop kind of keeps me from really appreciating the other elements.

I agree. The drums are harsh and get annoying quick, but I'm not that attached to the track.

Fun jam dude, I really think the basis is worth turning into a track.

melodie/harmony, mixing, joyfulness wise is everything high level class as always... i know you won't go back to it but a little acoustic break here and there would really spice it up imo...

Cheers! :)

I'm collecting the better tracks together for possible releases. I share these decent 'b-side' jams when I still think their good, but aren't fit for releases. They're all live hardware stereo takes too, so I don't really have quick DAW options to rearrange or add anything.

Very Richard D. James Album-ish. Listening to this actually made me want to dig out the album. The production is great. The only thing that stood out to me were the loud rusty metallic sounds at around 6:12. Should be a pretty quick fix to tame those sounds with an EQ and a compressor :)

Also, another thing... I never grew tired of this tune even though this tune is 13 minutes long ;)
