newish track that surfaced 2 months ago, haven't been on SC for a while now so it flew under the radar

Perhaps he's just sitting on a lot of stuff and taking his time? 1991 went on hiatus for about 4 years then put out an album of stuff he'd previewed on SC. Hoping it's the same case with Sd Laika.

I love this album.  This guy's amazing.  Really something else.  Very good replay lifetime and reveals more each listen

Welp, this is just a rumor I heard thru someone who claimed to know him on discord, so it's probably fake, but I heard he's been in and out of mental hospitals for years now.

Take that as you will, I think it's more likely the guy got a job or something since he still occasionally posts on his tumblr+soundcloud. But who knows.

If you haven't already heard, he put out a really good scrap on his soundcloud about a year ago.

collection of stuff, so not really new, but new to me and perhaps some others

sd laika is definitely one of the best things of the last 10 years. and not just music things.
