It would be stupid to have music unlike the first one. The squawky baritone saxes really enhanced the film noir theme.

However, the first one featured Fluke, so...

It's been quite a while since I last saw the first one. I may have to venture out to see this at the cinema.

Lord that looks so terribleh. There needs to be artificial grain on the film or something, and not fake blurring but instead real blur due to the camera focusing. And better CG for everything (like the money on the table, good grief. How hard is it to look at something and say, "Ok we made the draft, now lets do a final pass to make it look cool.

yeh nothing about the trailer gave me a boner really. for a trailer it seemed pretty disorganized. and the look... yeah somehow it just looked not as cohesive as the first one. i just mean the picture quality. seems like they need to tweak some computer parameters a bit more.

Nice. The first one will be hard to match, and I'm hoping they just dubstepped the trailer for trailer purposes. But yeah, I'll be seeing this for sure.

idk as much as I don't agree with some of the stuff he's said. I think that attitude is what makes his work engaging. Even the colours in Sin City seem to obviously represent a simple and hard way of looking at things, which is very seductive. It's the directness of violence solving problems that make his stuff enjoyable imo.

Alan moore made 4 short films two that were released in 2012, Jimmys end and act of faith. Two that were coming out (may they were already i don't know). And a fifth one that they did a kickstarter for last year that apparently completed the set so that all five could be released on blu-ray. I wouldn't recommend them in any way. But just so you know that they exist.

I loved the first film, when it came out it was fresh and stylish and not many had seen that kind of comic book style on screen, since then we've had an influx of this kinda thing (The Spirit, 300, etc..) at the end of the day, whether it's good or not will be down to whether the story is good enough. With regards to old Rodriguez, he is pretty hit n miss lately, I thought Machete was pretty bad, but i loved Planet Terror (it had a lot more inventiveness going on). By law of averages Sin City 2 will be good.

I believe the splashes of color was Rodriguez's idea.

I really like Sin City. This looks like more of the same so i'm happy.
