Noticing that the CD you're playing, that sounds like a CD skipping, is skipping pulls into the lead!!

Will Ejaculating into fire come back?

---

I still can't quite get over how popular Ejaculating into fire is. I've been trying to mentally prepare myself for the possibility of organizing a compilation album called "Tribute to Ejaculating into Fire". On the plus side, the track names write themselves:

Fertilizing a Phoenix

This better not be a grease fire...

Taking a candle out for a romantic candlelit dinner

---

That would be a fantastic comp, and it would give me an excuse to make breakcore.

Yo Zeph! Make me some breakcore, stat! (you wanted an excuse... :emb: )

Hoping for the 'Homeless with 808s' this year as I have loads of samples I've collected that I need to find a home for!

Was I the one that came up with that last time? I feel like I was, because I have an odd amount of personal stake in it.

It was you. In the same post as you suggested quasigreen things. Your post read like this:

  Quote

Wendy's

McDonald's

"McDonald's X" (McDonald's in the future)

Homeless people with 808s

Things that look green enough for some people to say "that's green" but that are actually not quite green

Fun size

I feel like it was an influential post in IDM history.

A quasi-glitch album, burnt to CD, with manually added scratches.... Every album will be unique

One of my favorite things in the world is when a loungey jazz CD starts skipping in an upscale restaurant (I've seen it happen a few times). The college girl waitresses start running around like headless chickens looking for the CD player and are panicking like the world is about to end... So good.

I wish I'd nominated it.

damn that's probably my best post ever, it's got 2 entires that actually made it pretty far

i wish i'd nominated McDonald's X again

I have some hopes for Caring a lot about your houseplants. There's a lot IDM going on there. Having independent tastes. Being sentimental. Having feelings for plants that most people reserve for vertebrates.

Whenever I get a bathroom spider I tend to start caring about it as well. I've never had a shelf fungus on my property, but I'd probably really care about that. But I know I feel pretty sentimental about my houseplants, and try to take good care of them.

EDIT:

Ejaculating into fire pulls into the lead again! Skipping CDs is in a close second. Broken GIFs has made a run for in and come into a close third, overtaking the old virus brought back to life by french scientists.

Skipping CDs would be a fun and easy comp.

But that's no fun. It's way cooler when there are multiple ways if interpreting ideas

I think it would be fun. It wouldn't be very diverse, but I would enjoy making tracks for it. It could also end up being more focused.

We seem to have plateaued, but I want to keep this open for 1 or 2 more days to include the weekend watmmers.

So, the qualification round is in overtime.
