Visually, certainly. Conceptually, yes.

The maths is different, though.

I haven't played Threes but the simplicity of 2048 was instantly addictive. It's like a recursive game of evolving Snap. and then the devilishness of a relatively simple strategy made it more enjoyable again.

I'm no longer as impressed as I was within the first few plays but I think it's still pretty great for a young coder to have made.

Nice, still working on 4096. Very satisfying to be able to get 2048 regularly though.
