Ill try and contribute this year, but ive been in a creative slump lately.

Hope the comp gets you out!

Update: Zephyr has kindly offered to do the mastering again this year. Thanks Zephyr!!

And in lieu of some embarrassing glitches that occurred last year, could you please submit tracks in wav or aif formats. This will reduce the needed file conversions, and reduce the chances for encoding glitches.

All your upright-bass variation of patanga shitango are belong to galangwa malango jilankwatu fatangu.

Experimenting with odd time signatures for this. Will see what comes out of it.

Yeah... that.

Received my first two tracks!

Also: Hello new watmmers! Come for the rare Aphex. Stay for the collaborations.

Pinned the topic. Also, if you want some newbs to contribute, perhaps some other stuff in the title so they know that it's a thread that they should read because it's open for them to contribute.

Good call. I don't think I can edit the title. Could you changed it to "Tribute to Mycorrhizae - ACCEPTING TRACKS BY WATMMERS" or something like that?

Submitted a track. Light, slightly noisy drone/ambient track manipulated from field recordings.

Tried to capture that moment in the breeding cycle where they release spores into the ground, permeating through the soil (gentle ambience) and branching off (sweeps of dissonant tones), creating a fractal network within the earth.

Not my first track on a comp, but certainly a different sound to this one.
