Aye, seems like that's how music comps are done nowadays - How well you can cross promote rather than the quality decided by the competition runners.

At the end of the day, the chance to remix Plaid was the real prize.

 

Plus I got some very nice e-mails from Andy about my mix, including one which said "Though it's not a factor with the competition, I must say your mix is my favourite in to date :)"

 

He might have been being polite though I guess :wink:
