It's creepy. Really creepy. Just not at all in the way you'd normally associate with AE. Which makes it creepier.

Yeah, there's no way this video is official, there just isn't. However one of the hot-ees was the director of the video and thus there's one more fine lady that likes Autechre that we'll never get to meet.

that's a great video. it sorta takes the piss out of people's preconceptions regarding sean n rob, i think.

is the autechre myspace real or fake? i can't tell. seems kind of fake since you can listen to older tracks, but they have friends like tatamax, rob hall, team doyobi and a load of other manc-based dudes like that.

How can you assume it's "official" since an agency made it? They might just have an AE fan in their midst...

I think their myspaß page is real. It was a friend of theirs who did the video, as a suprise for Sean and Rob. More info about the video can be found in her blog.

Sounds pretty legit to me. I never would have expected such a light hearted, fun video from Autechre. I love how absurd it is.

this is however intentional funny (i think) where as that poor boc video is unintentional funny (i think).

i'm not any closer to figuring out which is funnier cos that rationale sort of skews things.

Who cares how long it took. It's a fun idea, one which I haven't seen before, and one that's not trying too hard to be anything other than what it is, an entertaining, silly video. I find this sort of thing really refreshing in light of all the over the top, impress-everyone-with-our-production-budget videos I see on TV. It's nice to see something unpretentious for a change.
