I'll def buy a Nintendo Nabbit figure to use in MK8 and whatever other games it's compatible with. Who am I kidding, probly Link & Samus too.

I know, I know...It's like a 2nd Amendment debate. I'm just tired of reading through all the BS. Especially after skyward sword. Really, just find some decent voice actors. It's better than hearing just the few mumbling, excited yelps that have been present in the series up to this point. Annoys the hell out of me & makes me feel like I'm playing some shit kids game.

Just like the original Zeldas were much more open-ended, there's a certain element of loneliness and concentration to them that I reckon doesn't go well with voice acting. Twilight Princess didn't get this quite right, for example, it was good but in some ways it didn't really feel like a Zelda game to me.

Anyway, I'm really excited about the new Zelda and Xenoblade!

That's what I'm talking about, the stupid "EEeekks" & grumble-mumbles. They use stupid sound effects, but no one talks. I'm way past the "preserve the essence of Zelda" by not having any. Hell, I think voiceover, would give it a more cinematic feel & make it more engrossing. And mind you, I'm not asking for a lot of voiceover, just maybe the preamble setup sequences & talking to villagers & whatnot. If the game is as open as they say it is, I think those moments of actual voiceover would be rather minimal. I'd put dollars to doughnuts they could find the right people to do the voice acting for this new game.

Edit: Nintendo may have won this for me, Xenoblade looks great, Zelda looks amazing, and the Bayonetta bundle was a nice surprise.

 

It's a shame Xenoblade won't be this year, would've picked up a Wii U for sure.

That, I think is the biggest problem - only 2 things are coming out for Wii U this year - and only one for 3DS (if you don't count the Pokemon remakes). Add to the fact none of the 2015 games had any firm dates (let alone rough dates like Q2), will cause more people to hold off until something actually comes out. Nintendo needs to build the Wii U user base NOW, not in late 2015 when (if) Zelda actually comes out.

Yeah where the Hell was Retro? We know they're developing a new game, and possibly helping on others. I'm almost tempted to drive to Austin & bang their door down demanding answers!

My interest in gaming has definitely returned. I will probably also get a wiiu eventually for zelda, i will have to wait for a new mario game though

I think that rainbow six trailer is getting ignored a bit too much. Rainbow Six 3 survival mode was incredibly fun on xbox live, this looks like a return of that. Though ppl think cod perfected that "counter strike" style of fps, i personally found rainbow six to be more tactical, interactive, thrilling, and engrossing than either.

Well. If I get an Xbox One, it will be for Sunset Overdrive. Looks pretty cool to me.

I will be aiming to get a PS4 some time early next year. The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, and No Man's Sky are looking pretty nice, as well as LittleBigPlanet 3. Just nothing coming out this year that piques my interest.

I plan on buying nearly every game that Nintendo announced. Bayonetta 2 is definitely my most anticipated game this year, as I loved the first one so much I bought it on both PS3 and X360. It looks like I'll be owning a 3rd on Wii U. Captain Toad will be fun, Hyrule Warriors will probably be worth playing, and of course, Smash at the end of the year. Next year is looking up for Nintendo, I'd say.

Strangely enough, I said I wouldn't be buying anymore games this year until SSB..... But I forgot about Persona Q and Persona 4A Ultimax. It's time to start saving.

for me personally this has been the most impressive e3 I can remember for a while. the sheer number of games I really really wanna get my hands on across ps4 and wii u is pretty impressive. new demons souls successor. new Zelda. new limbo. MK x. no mans sky. Mario maker. yoshis wooley world. hyrule warriors (this personally looks like a ton of fun. move aside smash bros:|). tiny mention of new mass effect. more mentions of MGSv and new batman arkham game.)

i'm pretty much locked in for getting a ps4 now next year. would love to see dark souls 2 get a rejiggered version coming out on next-gen console as well. that would be the icing on the cake:)

oh!! the witness is another reason to need/want a ps4. I mean, damn. lots of good games coming out :)

yes! rainbow 6 was the one and only time i got talked into using my head set/mic on my old xbox360

regardless of if the new miyamato games will be fun or not, im more than happy to see him producing smaller unique games again and not fine tuning rehashing same old games again.

A few details about Bloodborne coming in through the previews:

Everything takes place in a single city

Interconnected like Dark Souls

You can’t play a passive block style, you need to be more aggressive and pro-active

Firearms are close-range weapons, to stun enemies, create counter-attack opportunities

Sawcleaver transformable, and many weapons will be

City densely layered with loads of verticality

Enemies are more nuanced. They don’t spawn, they patrol the city, have behavioural patterns, patrol, hunt, talk to each other

You’ll see npcs fight enemies and you can decide to help them or not

In one demo a bunch of dogs saw the player and went off to warn enemies

Sounds amazing, and it seems to address a lot of things that I personally didn't like about the souls games (the repetition of combat and enemy placement, the poor ai and lack of an organic feeling in the world generally)

Hello Nintendo.

Zelda looks so pretty that I've been woken out of total apathy for all the new consoles and might consider a WiiU if and when I do want to buy one.

Shame the WiiU won't have Arkham Knight though, because that's the only franchise game I really want to play. I guess I'll have to work something out.
