That transition at 4.00 - 4.55 is as lush as the day is long. I could listen to that on repeat until the birds start tweetin at 4 am. He's fading in what sounds like an 80's track, not sure what it is, then slows the vocal down for the remaining beats of ''manchester track''. It works brilliantly.

 

do you really think so? to me the vocals sound like a part of the track, doesn't sound like any 'mixing' between two tracks is taking place, just a lot of knob turns and effects, and the vocals are just another part of it. don't know how he'd get them though.

Yeah, the vocal thing was going on early in the track, just the way it was mixed bad in at 4:10 gave me the impression that Twin had brought the vocals back to their rightful home in the 80's track :-D

Yeah, that Wobbly Chords tracks is just insanely sweet, makes me wanna cry.

Holy Crap that bass sounds amazing in that second recording. It could just be a recording artifact, but when it masks those upper frequencies, it just sounds awesome.

oh yeah, the quality is tons better in that one! Those delicious formant-y sounds are uh... delicious. The bass thing was an artifact in the previous video! Good, that means I have an idea.

To be honest I put Metz Track over the Singapore track.

I've got a copy of that one. I love them all, but I also enjoy arguing about how good each is.

So that Singapore track is running through my head all day now, I even stopped in the middle of watching a movie just to play these youtube videos a few times. Proper RDJ magic on that track, unbelievable.

Would he release it on his newest album? Or would it have to be on some kind of old compilation??
