Hello, I'm listened to The Tuss

Recommended Posts

I also really like The Tuss, it is perhaps AFX' best work.

But I don't understand a lot of what is being said here? This is a discussion thread about The Tuss right?

Also, should one call Rushup Edge an EP or an album?

Thanks for the great music,. Richard.

Wait, before this thread goes on any longer: Is everyone here listened to The Tuss? Because if you are not listened to The Tuss, you should correct that and be listened to the Tuss before posting.

I, for example, am listened to the Tuss.

Also, does it happens to you all as well, when somebody asks you what music you listen to and you say "I'm listened The Tuss" that people have no clue what you're talking about?

Everyone just seems to listen to pop etc. so un-intelligent really

legions behind drukqs

sorry 2 pee on your party

I love that album, but it doesn't sound like the future, it sounds like the past.

The piano interludes, however, are some of the best prepared piano in existence, ever, and I do like the drill and bass tracks like ten milliontimes.

But the tuss, on reference monitors, are fucking mindblowing sound engineering / design. And it's mixed down like omg, which drukqs is not.

yup, the sound design is what separates The Tuss from the rest of RDJ's work. it's those undulating speakers he used to record them or summat, ie:

Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12Rushup I Bank 12

Confederation Trough is pretty good too, I prefer the sound design on that

I'm listened to the Tuss at this very moment.

Alspacka has to be my favorite tune. Its all laid back like an analord tune but the ending just breaks it down in the most Tussiest fashion. Also, its called Alspacka

Tracks on both Tuss releases are amongst RDJ's best work! Would have loved if he'd release more stuff from that period, because I'm still lovin' it.

"All clues tend to indicate that you're behind the Tuss album of 2007. why not admit it? Why do you continue to keep this information secret?"

Richard D. James - "It was an amazing psychological experiment that taught me a lot on a personal level."

i'm pretty sure this taught him to not release new music.

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

To be honest, Confederation Trough was kind of boring to me. I heard it before Rushup Edge and was unimpressed, but was blown away by Rushup. The gap in quality between those two EPs is vast, in my opinion.

I felt the same, but it really grew on me. I prefer it's production/mixing to Rushup Edge, feels more refined to me.

Hello listened to the Tuss.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

i thought rushup edge is an lp? 32:11 if my math is right

If my mind serves, and it almost never does, RDJ LP was only a little bit longer than that. Rushup Edge always struck me as an EP, though. I think of the two tuss releases together to form an LP of sorts.

Rushup Edge is indeed an LP, I fucked up.

This will be noted on your performance evaluation at the end of the fiscal year, young man. We expect better things from you.

(And I totally think of Rushup Edge as an EP, too, fwiw)

That's because Brian still has a lot to learn from his Aunt Karen. He gave it a good try though.

Also, hello.

Hi Richard

edit: I'm listened to the Tuss. I think Akunk is quite not very good, but i think GX1 Solo, Last Rushup 10 and Rushup Bank 12 are quite good.

Regards
