my god that set was absolutely insane.

brutal. beautiful. terrifying. playful. funky... sometimes all at the same time!

...and that was thru headphones. i can't imagine what it was like to be in that physical space. overwhelming.

without question the best they've ever been live. they're on a whole other level now.

the sequencing, the sound, the textures... everything was so fluid.

can't believe the states is getting shorted on this amazing live experience again.

i hope they reconsider. even if it's just a few dates.

my two cents - ae live last saturday was amazing and one of the most incredible music experiences i had in my life. the sound was just perfect, hair-trembling bass and stuff - loud and intense, but not over the top, so i haven't used my earplugs.

loved that they switched tracks each 5-6 minutes. i wonder why they sped up at the end - like they wanted to show much more stuff, but got no time.

in terms of music material - well, i really would love to hear it released, but there would be no such thing, i guess?

I understand their stance against releasing soundboard recordings or having any professional room recordings done, but I think it's pretty withholding to have that stance and also limit touring to such a small group of countries. I'm not entitled to anything, but there's just something really off about the exclusivity club they've inadvertently created with this model. If they aren't going to do an international tour (and I realize that they can't realistically tour the world every time) they should have professional recording done so their music isn't lost to the tens of thousands of fans worldwide who would die to hear a good quality recording.

The Krakow recording is pretty good quality, but Ae fans are audiophiles and perfection is understandably expected from their music.

Agree! The recording is great, but it doesn't match depth and massive scale of this music in live setting. I am really glad that I was able to experience this last weekend. To other parts of the world: demand their tour. AE gig in each town! This is second level music.

Anyone knows why they are not able to tour? I'll bet that with their recognition they wouldn't be financially at a loss.
