Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

heh, that's what i'd tell my girlfriend was happening, if i had one (applications available, hurry unlimited window, infinite places), when i wake up with a boner.

"uhh, dleet, your hard boi," "the force awakens, mittens"

should have called it The Force & The Furious

best answer.

I used mittens because the word presented itself to me, most likely cause it is kind of cute pet name sounding, like kittens, and also because i've been spending a few hours reading forums to find out why my stylus won't sync through bluetooth with my ipad, and how to use the stylus with your hand resting against the screen. Turns out people have been using gloves with the fingers cut off to stop the response from the screen, hah, my gawd.

nwae, i say things, but they're usually built on other things going on in the background, stuff is seemingly random but not really.

nice to see you back for a bit red of the ruth.

. for mǝ disney has just taken the first step towards trivializing the force - to even hint the fact that the force has not always been 'awake' or that it would need to 'awaken'? it seems to me that this is quite dangerous territory in which to travel and one might wonder just how far down this road disney is prepared to go. to ʎןʇuɐddıןɟ allude to the fact that the force is, in its essence imperfect, or that it would itself 'change' and that it is not instead all things which are subjected to change by it and through it - to me this is very off-putting and the first example of disney's naivety when approaching the scared material.

we should watch them quite closely. this is, of course, thirty-some years of our precious, collective memory that they are so carelessly clutching in the sweaty little fingers.

the only thing I'm looking forward to is old bearded recluse Luke Skywalker, i hope he has a sizable role in the film. This whole 'new generation of jedi' thing seems destined to be just as crappy as the Jedi vibe in Attack of the clones. I hope im wrong

edit: glad Lindelof isn't involved though, or else there would be some sort of scene or reference to how Palpatine secretly injected Luke with midichlorians as a child on the farm

yeah fucking hell, don't make it a kids the fuck movie. 'kids go here, say things that are philosophically profound to the lowest common denominator of their age group, kids go there, wank off on how cool they are and how well they're getting on, one of the girl kids decides to stop being a bitch to the male lead, maybe there's love in the air, luke skywalker being amazingly fucking amazing, kids, kids, animated goof ball fuckmong alien tards, and kids bring down villain, yay, come on back now yarl, marvel style teaser at end credits of some tomb or other on forgotten planet, dark stuff, CG almost bat creatures, hanging vines, control panel lined in gold smoking or rumble, what could it be, cue house lights, throwing up, drying of tears, but kind of knowing that you'll cry some more, fondly remembering the hobbit which is something that you never thought would happen.'

It won't be that bad, but if it's hollywood clean look shampoo commercial people, being as interesting as the novel and laptop reading maquettes that you find at a starbucks i will skim the film in five minutes, then go back to me animes.

Also, i don't think that they mean that the force has changed, just that people are awakening to it again after losing to the empire after early gains in the rebellion which probably turned sour, or becoming complacent after re-establishing their federation. Not to get into the way of a good speculative expositionary rant. And i agree that the force is like the ether in our universe, something that lies beneath all, connects everything. It doesn't grow or contract or sleep or awaken, it just is there, flowing through all as we flow through it are it. hrmm, sorry tiredunzenga [this word actually doesn't have a backstory, maybe it came from the ether, hah, hi ether [-; ].

should have just adapted KOTOR to film.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

I wonder what the lens flare per minute ratio will be in the force awakens?

Thanks user487363530. And user4873635301. Now 48736353001.

It will be interesting to see if the Star Trek lens flare esthetic carries over...

I'm gonna bet yes.

i do wish they would not make such overwhelming use of the digital effects, using them so heavily. model-making is the foundation that the films were built upon and that unique 'feeling' can never truly be achieved without going through that same artistic process. goerge lucas of all people should know this; yet everyone just continues to follow the money round and round; while the depth of our entertainment experience is paid for the price.

i am somewhat soothed by seeing lawrence kasdan, kathleen kennedy etc etc..

I think a main selling point so far for Episode VII is that they are going for more real sets and models rather than just green screening it.

Apparently practical effects are seeing an "awakening" (ha) in films - Interstellar apparently uses practical models and effects for some of it's spaceship scenes.

Considering Nolan's stance on technology, I am not surprised he opted for more traditional effects.

my hope is that it continues.

the relationships the artists had with each other and their craft as a creative community were quite special and much of this was suctioned away in the early 2000's. i know the two methods to be mutually beneficial, golden ratio. so many things in our lives can relate directly to the rules of synergy, reanimation - the past not being discarded, but instead being properly conjoined with the present to yield the future
