if the album leaked, would you listen to it?

I don't like it when a track gets released as a teaser. You get used to that track and then when the album drops it seems that the album is disjointed because you have raped one track so hard and all the others are new.

If there was a good leak of the whole thing, i'd probably listen but have full intentions of buying anyway.

When Warp released the mp3 of 54 Cymru Beats pre-release, it was fucking pandemonium, but this time around, hopefully a less standout track gets teaser'd. Would rather listen to my own copy. If it was coming out in 8 months I might be slightly more impatient, but the announcement-to-release schedule is pretty reasonable this time, and it's only a few weeks away.

If it does leak and Bleep rushes out the lossless files that I pre-ordered, then I would listen to the files I purchased. But I'm not hoping for a leak.

With respect to internet radio broadcasts, no moral qualms or anything of course, but the sound quality usually is too shit for me to really get much out of it. Didn't really enjoy the last few early Autechre album radio selections; can't dig in enough. Ae and RDJ both work best for me with full immersion, and the teasers can set up weird expectations of a full release that usually don't quite pan out (for better or worse) and that makes the first full listen less enjoyable for me.

I'd only listen to a leak on 2 conditions.
