Unbelievably funky!

What's that drum roll on 3:30, it sounds like an "un-snarred" snare drum or something... Then comes the funky high synths. It's like the 80's in some insane mutated form. Or something.

Yeah I like it a lot!

I mean the vocal followed by the snare at the beginning is a work of genius... It's the only way to introduce that bassline/synth with (the only way to describe it) mutates throughout the course of the tune.

definitely the smoothest most explicitly neatly-stitched track he's done since drukqs era. harking back to vordhosbn with the unabrasiveness of it's synth sounds and chord progression and regressions

LSD does indeed exhibit piezoluminescence in very pure form. When I was around some fairly lovely light-loving folks, I got to witness a 10 pack of some special batch sacrament in a inert-gas-sealed amber jar. When the jar was shaken it emitted the same sized light and visual as when you peel apart really static-y blankets in the dark. It is pretty fucking nuts. Everything that stuff touched was immediate third-eye-peeling cosmic wonder-stuff.

I feel cool because one of my songs on soundcloud is called piezoluminescence, therefor, I am cool.

My favorite part is those few seconds of mega harmonized lead that he only gives us a taste of one time in the entire track. It's so typical of Aphex to tease like that. (4:44)

Its the bit before that at 4.40....dubstep for about .0002 seconds and in the background!

This track is making me want some more monitors.

Nothing has made me want to upgrade my setup since I was like 18 or something lol.

This has been my favourite from the start. It's one of the funkiest things he's done... but (to me) it's also got all the best elements of AFX condensed.. head-fuckery, beautiful emotive melodies, snaking arrangements....

Gave Syro a break for the last 3 weeks, as I was burnt out and not really advancing much with it, I was stuck in a rut I suppose. I decided to start playing after the 0.58 track and was rewarded very heavily indeed, especially with this tune. I think after minipops and xmaseve this is vying for 3rd place.
