It was said a while ago it's not going to involve money, right? (Or did I imagine that?) So it could be a soft synth that's going to be made available through the new downloads part of the site? It can't be a soft synth though surely. Which means actual synths being made and given to people either for doing something like a remix competition or via a ballot or something? (Maybe even as a thankyou for the Kickstarter? But that would be a shitload of synths so probably not) Aaargh!

Knew it would be hardware, haha. But the logistics of hardware... how would that work! I guess for Warp to be involved that means the hardware isn't a custom DIY one off synth he's building. So he's probably designed a synth in collaboration with a synth maker like Roland who are building a load of them. Warp are involved because they own the rights to the Aphex Twin name, the Aphex logo and Richard's face - at least one if not all will probably be on the box. Also Bleep for distribution maybe. Richard is going through his sound libraries and making patches for a select few special versions of the synth for WATMMers? (For people who contributed to Caustic Window maybe?)

That's the best guess my brain can muster. Really interested to see how this thing turns out!
