you cant wander round life being afraid of getting stabbed by strangers, even if it occasionally happens. having said that hitchiking in the UK literally doesnt exist any more, ive not heard of anyone of my generation giving or taking lifts off random people in the street

I usually cycle to work along the Bath Road from my house to Royal Mail (about 3 miles). If I find a puncture on my bike when I get up, I leave it in the garage and I walk down the Bath Road, and always someone I know who I work with willl stop to pick me up as it's a main route between Maidenhead and Slough. The other day in the dark morning some random geezer stopped his car and offered me a lift (he probably saw my Royal Mail jacket) and I just got in and had a chat and he dropped me off. Pretty random, but life affirming. He helped me and I trusted him. Cool. He was also a Somalian muslim. Hahah, I escaped without a scratch and he didn't eat my brains for breakfast. I like stuff like that.

There's good people everywhere I suppose.

Also... royal mail.... are you the one destroying all my orders from subtle audio you bastard!!!? lol :emotawesomepm9:
