It seems most Rephlex artists are going on Bandcamp. Any reason Wisp signed to another label? what are the benefits over running your own Bandcamp?

I don't think that he's signed to recordlabelrecords, they will just be releasing one of his albums and he has history with them, Reid having released there before. The advantages are various, one being physical media to sell.

You're welcome. Whole NRTHNDR is full of great tunes so go and check it out if you haven't done it yet. Loophole is another favorite of mine from the album. Really hoping his new stuff will be closer to this than Shimmering Hour. But yeah, the souncloud tracks are making me wishful.

but damn, am I alone finding the highs very harsh and the sound overly bright I cannot listen the music too loud it breaks m ears?

yeah, one of the best tracks on his other aliases. my comment was more general. I tend to prefer his music under Wisp, but still really appreciate his others aliases!
