People's reaction to hearing Aphex Twin for the first time

why so short? i wanna know more. which songs were being played? the songs in the video or did it vary person to person? anyways, very entertaining and would like to see more reactions!

I'm surprised people thought it was so weird. I feel like IDM is pretty palatable at this point, given the popularity of electronic music these days.

Yeah, I assume they made people listen to Syro/Analord stuff, most of which is not especially outlandish, and showing it to someone new would probably leave them underwhelmed. They should have used something from ICBYD/RDJ for a better WTF effect

I listened to the radio program they took this from earlier and in that the host actually says that they played "the weirdest, oddest and glitchiest stuff from Aphex they could find" or something to that effect, so it probably wasn't (just) Syro although that's what's playing in the background.
