LoveLove seems to put a bunch of effort towards this guy. After the brilliant Cornbrail Acid 2 (the 2nd best release this year after Syro IMO) I’ve been lurking LoveLove’s facebook page now and then in hope of more Beatwife releases and every other post there is about Anklepants. I don’t care much of this circus freak thing, but then again those papa cristos vids were enough to shock my fragile little mind, so I guess those kinds of things just aren’t my cup of tea. Like, this guy has a dick hanging from his face, why? Quite the opposite of the old cliché ‘’if my balls are on your chin then where’s my pee-pee’’. Too art for me though…

As for the music, it’s interesting to some degree. Not feeling so much woot woot but yet I find myself listening to some of his stuff on Youtube regularly. For those who are interested there’s an Anklepants album coming next month on LoveLove. Maybe will check that out. Would really like to hear some samples from the album first though. AFAIK this far Anklepants has been pretty much bits and bobs spread around the webs so maybe a whole album will be a completely different experience.

AAH have to correct my last post since It seems that Anklepants has indeed put out quite a bunch of releases. Earliest one dates from 2004. So not so much newbie as I thought he was.

i've never heard the music before (only seen photographs) but its interesting that as weird as it's trying to be it sounds remarkably similar to a hybrid between Schirach and Tim Exile (or something) .

Yeah it was packed in the club where i saw him. Managed to piss off half the people in attendance by flailing around in the cramped space like an idiot.
