no, account definitely deleted. my message from him now shows up as 'Deleted user' and somebody else renamed their account to 'afx deleted his account'

.... that said, hmm, if one can restore a deleted account, does that mean the username is reserved for some period? if so, that'd indicate he changed his account name before deleting.

Also, I'm sure I saw a comment earlier where he said something like 'you'll hear about any new accounts here'. So... he could have said that and deleted his account to fuck with us.

wow. shit. so this is the end? what a wild adventure this has been.

in all my years of WATMMing i'm just so happy i had the chance to take part in this, to see each and every one of us bonding, sharing and celebrating our passion for the music we love.

when rich was making this music in the early 90s, he was handing his tracks out to everyone like gifts, so all his friends had the chance to hear them and put together mixtapes and playlists to show their appreciation. and that's what music is all about - loving it, living it, and sharing it.

richard, thank you so, so much for what you've done for us. everyone on this board - and millions of fans all over the world - have been lucky enough to enjoy something truly legendary. and thanks to your music, we're closer to each other than ever before.

and thank you to every fellow AFX fanboy for keeping the house alive, sharing your insight on the lushness of these gems, and keeping me up to date with those ever-crucial new uploads. you guys have been fantastic!

i get the strong impression that he'll prank but genuinely appreciates his fans so wouldn't do anything to "fuck with us". pretty sure the antics you see in interviews is probably because he finds the whole industry ridiculous
