A good artist knows when to show restraint. I could see it being done before/after/during. PAPAT4 is a pretty recent track too.

Its funny. That 303 acid squiggle has almost never been appealing to me (sonically anyway) But Aphex definitely knows how to wriggle emotion and drive out of it.
