We experienced that with our dog once. She's normally super polite, especially for a dog, but she gets nervous around travel. So we got her some dog anti-anxiety medication and we tried it out before a trip. It ended up just taking away her inhibitions, so she was constantly trying to get petting, like pushing her head up under your hand and didn't really listen to feedback.

that would be handy to set up, as they're probably the same person (heh ;-p )

It's only happened once. It's not something we'd normally do, but you haven't seen her lose her shit (not literally) based on traveling - seemingly based on a fear of abandonment (she's a shelter dog). Like constantly panting, pacing, and most strangely taking food from her bowl and stashing it in the corner for later, for the forthcoming apocalypse apparently.

you were leaving her at home or she was coming with you, or either way, packing bags leads to stress. That stashing food thing is cool. Don't worry man, i'm not judging you, i have no right.

look at who got signed to rephlex over the years, i think he makes music that he likes, so it makes sense that vaguely similar or inspired music he would also enjoy. he has never come off as an elitist to me, quite pragmatic when it comes to music choices.

I am loving it that he is a new order fan as well as being influenced by a lot of early Chicago House. Even more of a top bloke than I thought he was.

God his CCAI setup sounds hardcore, it must really piss him off when an overhead plane shakes his house and messes up a perfectly composed Ziggomatic 18. ;)

i guess im just trying to put myself in his shoes, like at a certain point wouldn't it weird you out just a bit? Or maybe he's relaxed in a sense because his countless imitators really never nail the true spirit of his sound

Or maybe he just likes it because it's good music, and doesn't put it into a historical context and relate it to his own work and others since that's relatively pointless.

Or something.
