Saw this earlier as well, crazy hadn't heard about it until now. You can definitely hear the track he's played live before

Then he got pissed cus they released his track without permission

He had played both of those tracks before then, theres loads of video online of him playing them both.

There's fuck all documented about that Falmouth gig though, low profile gig, maybe even a no phone policy even tho that short vid clearly leaked

Got a suspicion Richie has a bunch of tracks very dear to him. Tracks which he doesn't want to put out in public without a very good reason. Qu1 is a good example, I think. Beautiful track. Never officially released. Don't know how old it is. Perhaps the link to quoth is a clue. He put it up on his soundcloud to honour the passing of his farther. If that was an old track, which I think it is, he must have felt strong about not putting it on a release earlier.

Of course, none of this makes sense if he made it recently. 

Maybe since the dump he became more comfortable with his older personal tracks that never went on official releases and he even played qu1 at one of this years shows. 

Since revisiting Soundcloud a few days ago, I've become bonkers obsessed with Cornish Spreek. Such a wonderful track. Kind of reminds me of a cross between a RDJ Album tune (cheeky and playful) and ICBYD tune (genius!). Wow this really is a fantastic track. I cannot believe its been under my radar all these years after it was released. I be bonkers I tell thee.

If he put this on there it would be a good release. At least something. Otherwise this release sounds like those throw away tracks he does.  Its ok. He's human. I wasn't sure for a while there, but he is I guess

calling it not good is harsh

m12 6 omc test is classic afx with overt punch. blackbox 21 brings depth and covers new territory. all of it has subtlety that unlocks with age.

rich knows what the catalog of an artist looks like, and i'm glad that he is confidently doing that. blackbox is a unique, interesting, and well-crafted artifact from the journey

Its a different mix of the same track, he played the beatless one in Turin and with beats in NY, Coachella (twice) and Falmouth, I hope both versions get a release at some stage. It's a worldie
