If he did win and did turn up and did a speech it would be a good opportunity to go off on a rant about chemtrails or something.

i wish he could have a Grammy and he deserves it, obviously for so many reasons, but i'm afraid it's unlikely he win, Grammy are pop oriented and not sure it can surpass the pop success of Röyksopp

There are 83 Grammy categories to plough through tonight, 82 of which are most likely not worth wasting time on (especially not for us Europeans in a different timezone), so I'll just wait until the recap tomorrow.

I can't think of a proper reason as to why he wouldn't win best Electronic, considering the Grammys are always a response to buzz etc, I can't think of a single other nominee that didn't generate as much attention or is as 'important' as Syro. That being said, I've not heard any of the other albums but I've heard from a friend that the Dead Mau Phive album is quite daring for him.

Then again, they gave AOTY to Mumford And Sons, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Dixie Chicks and Daft Punk for RAM in the past 10 years alone, considering not just the nominees are generally a lot better, but there seem to be a good deal of albums popular enough to win Grammys in the respective years.

That being said, if he wins, I'm hoping for a barefoot acceptance speech.
