Milieu (Brian Grainger) does some pretty BoC sounding stuff. Though his tends to be less beat-heavy and more ambient.

If apocalyptic is what you want, then Current 93 is the artist for you. It's the best music about the apocalypse that I've heard. Thunder Perfect Mind gives me some vibes similar to Boards of Canada in a few parts, even though it's an entirely different genre.

This track is a notable example, with its soaring leads and the filters on the instruments and vocals

1991 more than anyone else for lately , personally anyway, there's something melancholy and nostaligic about his stuff that harkens BoC a lot more than other artists compared to the group

some other tracks that remind me of BoC in vibe

this one is more of a stretch but his music has a very western desolation vibe, similar to parts of Tomorrow's Harvest thematically

Odd Nosdam album Sisters. Obvious choice cause BOC remixed one of the songs (just as he has remixed one of theirs), but even beyond that, the rest of the album seems to not break character
