So I'm hearing Net Neutrality is dead now. But then that's what we heard last December when the FCC voted to repeal it. But I thought the Senate voted to restore it last month.

I'm confused as hell.

individual states are making their own laws for net neutrality so will be interesting to see how this goes forward.

So far almost all of those state laws have been shot down.

And Yeah they can listen to conversations. The implication being they can listen to Donald trumps conversations since he doesn’t use secured lines. And the fcc did nothing about this, basically co-signing a major threat to national security. These people should all be in jail.

the washington one still stands.  hasn't been challenged in court yet. 

the oregon one takes effeect Jan 1st but it's kind week and only bars state agencies form using ISPs that don't adhere to net neutrality rules.  basically means can't use a service that provides fast lanes for corporations etc.
