Didn't dream of BoC.

I dreamt that I was on meth and paranoid as hell, walking around some house freaking out and picking up all the knives and other weapons I could find to try and mitigate my unrest, but it wasn't working and everything just kept getting more threatening. I tried sleeping in that house but I couldn't, and eventually just pressed myself into a corner with knives in both hands hoping I wouldn't be killed or worse.

Then I woke up, fell back asleep, and dreamt that I got a job at a big record store in a foreign town, organizing records there. I enjoyed it, but for some reason a friend of mine convinced me to leave and go adventuring around, and I eventually (and reluctantly) took a train to northern Norway. I regretted it when I got there, as it was a horrible place. I don't remember quite why, but when I tried leaving for my pleasant employed life I was attacked on the road by mentally ill people holding makeshift weapons. I think there were some dogs as well that attacked me. I ended up trapped there in a horrible foreign town in a foreign land in the middle of nowhere.

Then I woke up again, fell back asleep, and dreamt about some futuristic version of the Third Reich. I was in a mostly-indoor city governed by the German National Socialist party, and I was going between rooms with my mother. I don't remember the details, but everything was exceptionally clean and there were not very many people. We had to go through a border post to get to our destination, and had to have some sort of test done on us. This was a problem, because in this dreamworld my mother was part Jewish (though I have no Jewish family members in real life). I was trying to put off the passage as long as possible out of fear that she would be taken to a camp. Eventually we went there (after disguising her as much as we could), and I was tested first. I passed, but as my mother was going through I woke up.

These are some very cryptic messages that the Sandisons are sending me.

You just weirded me out, I was born at 8:22 and always notice this numerical sequence everywhere, yet never knew it was on this vinyl sleeve (don't have the vinyl yet) until you mentioned it and I googled it so thanks for the heads up

Also never knew about Genesis 8:22 until now

There's got to be something in the works. I'm not prepared to live in a post-BoC world. Not yet. Not ever.

This thread is like cocaine. You see the glimmer of greatness in the distance and the initial first step is like a roman candle firework of pleasure slowly bursting up through your spine and brain. Then once the truth is revealed (thread loads up/third line) it's a totally souless experience, and you promise yourself that you'll never, never, never come back for more.

lol yeah its true, theres always a slight spark of hope which gets extinguished pretty quickly with the realisation there is no news, which now isn't helping anyone, as with my post they will also get the 'hit' just to discover that the pain continues.....

So boardsofcanada.com happens to be down, which from my recollection is the first time I've seen it down since TH. I certainly haven't been checking it 24/7 so it's very likely this is just some random site error and it will be back up and normal soon.

But maybe the new site and announcement are on the way....???
