Can someone please explain about half the memes in this thread? I don't follow 4chan and the ironic post meta sub-irony gets a bit confusing

For example:

Some of the comedy lies in the subversion of expectations, some of it relies on nostalgia about finding video game glitches funny as a kid, but the top one in your examples is the real shit: font, colours, science, words, references, collage, frogs

It's a sophistication that Bill Burr or Dilbert or Stewart Lee can only dream of

The contents of this thread aren't something you can really explain, let alone rationalize. They're more like a state of existence.

It took me at least three years from when Colunga fathered this thread on the 13th of February, 2015 to even begin to learn how to swim in this pool, if that makes any sense. You can't really force it. The Dank Dimension subsumes you over time with a natural flow, if you're willing to commit.

(And for the record, I don't use 4chan.)
