Couldn't find more suitable thread so will put this here. So guyz, have you merged much tracks from dump and bleepstore to actual releases or alternatively made playlists? In the past I used to thought that the track list made by artists are holy and shouldn't be messed under any circumstances, but since there was such an overhaul of material  given to us, I thought it would be convenient to lump some dump trax to official releases. There were bunch of tracks that sounded so obvious outtakes that they went great along with the official stuff. Rich did it in bleepstore himself so thought what the hell. So instead of compiling some best of I did some copy/paste and the magic was done. Eventually ended up putting also other tunes which were somehow related. Like these:

MARCHROMT30a edit 2b 96. Mainly bits and bobs of post-syro.

Windowlicker. Not the biggest fan of  the original 3 track EP (nor the one track version) but added with extras, it's surprisingly bon.

Drukqs Promos +, Almost like a bonus disc to the actual thing

Ventolin. Behemoth EP becomes even bigger. This one I've enjoyed the most. Remixes on a separate folder though, but usually play them too after these.

Doesn't really work well with albums though. In fact, ended up throwing most of the tracks Rich added to albums back to the dump folder. Sill can't think Consciousness Utopia, With My Family or Nocares as ICBYD tracks. And Clissold 101 sounds too clean for SOSW. Sorry Rich for violating your releases. Any other lists and such?

I have been meaning for years to put together playlists for the Soundcloud dump...This thread got me inspired to finally get started.

I've tried to break the dump down into alternate versions of released albums and EPs, although I've had to loosen structure here and there (e.g. lumping AB tunes together or making Joyrex and Rephlex "albums") as I felt it helped continue to break things into more manageable/listenable lengths.
I've included some compilation tracks and non-Soundcloud bonus tracks, too...again, just to round stuff out and make the experience more listenable.

The playlist which I think needs work mainly is the ICBYD... (Alt) one as it is just too long. I am going to try to find different homes for a few and then likely split it into "ICBYD... (Alt) [Disc 1]" and "ICBYD... (Alt) [Disc 2]"
Any thoughts on that, appreciated! In fact, any thoughts on any of this is appreciated...there are probably some songs stuck in the wrong playlist but only repeat listening will get me figuring that.
Finally, this doesn't include a lot of the SyroBonkers type noise tracks...I've bunged them into an another playlist but to be honest, I'm just not that into them so even though it runs at 2hr45min, I'm fine...

Tim, 28 Organ has bugged me, I feel like the instruments/samples used + some of his tricks/habits indicate to me that it was maybe tuss era. But CTD era also seems like a possibility...ie some of the more jazzy chord progressions + frenetic overall composition style

Anyone else have opinions on when it may have been produced?

hey don't shoot the messenger, that's based on richard's song comments... :^) honestly there's some other songs which don't really fit the era he posted, ie T08+4 which is obviously from Field Day...

Did you take that info straight from the section "Album/EP closest suited to" of the spreadsheet? Don't mean to be a dick here, but you do surely realize that the spreadsheet is a fan based effort and doesn't have a straight connection to Rich in person. Sure, he did comment on few songs about what era they were made on, compiled playlists for sosw II and Saw 1.5 and so on, but for the most part the song-album connection in the spreadsheet has been made by the spreadsheet compiler himself and has nothing to do with anything that Rich has posted. So basically as legitimate and official as my or your playlists. Could be wrong though...

i'm a fool then, i honestly thought the closest suited to row was based on rich's comments, but yeah seeing that T13 quadraverb and T08+4  belong now to Field Day reissue it doesn't really make sense at all... lol
